Italian Magazine Party @ Bentley

I don't know how I ended up at the Bentley Hotel. The Sanctuary Event where the group of friends lead by alpha-female General Sanchez was to meet was deserted ("maybe because it rained a bit" was the maitre's thought; this being South Beach maybe he was right. Who'd go out in this inclement weather of only 74 degrees in the evening with some rain. Yuck!).

Ro came to the rescue requesting my presence at 5th & Ocean. Although Ro's first thought was to have me taken to the asylum ("What? You WALKED from the Sanctuary? Woow! That´s like almost 20 blocks". I know, we are in South Beach...) this was a different party. Perfectly planned (at 9:30 there was no more sponsored wine or not sponsored pizza... ) as you´d expect from the very predominantly Italian crowd

and with that certain life affirming positive air that Italians (and Brazilians) seem to be born with.
I believe it was for a new paper (B&R, Bar & Restaurant; nomen est omen), but it was just a nice way to start an evening.

Especially since that walk was beautiful.
So the walks deserves an entry of it's own...
