Projection of Burning Man ( & other) photography with unique, visually impressive dynamic transformation software just developed by my german friend Mario Klingemann, the most talented flash designer on earth.

Sunday, April 9th . 5 to 8 pm . Miami Beach Botanical Garden, Miami Beach, across Hall D from the Miami Beach Convention Center. Exhibition of art works on canvas inspired by Christo´s The Gates in Central Park. An additional pleasure is that DJ Parantula will be spinning, to introduce his wonderful sister´s Cosmetex collection. latest news: a belly dancer will be spinning too. herself. not turntables.

Thursday, April 13th . 10pm to 1am . Raleigh Hotel , 1775 Collins Avenue . Miami Beach . Dynamic Projection of Performance photography on the wonderfully bright gigantic screen they put up at the Raleigh during those unique full moon drum circles and celebrations you´ve heard of (and never dared to attend). Be part of the unique calm atmosphere that the drum circle inspires by being so not South Beach (and with that being Miami Beach at it´s best). My photography might embellish the event, but you will be most taken by the serenity of a beautiful late evening with wonderful musicians and possibly a fire dance by the exhilarating Amber Joy Rava.

Full Moon Celebration at the Raleigh

In the past days it was cold in the evening. This afternoon it rained. But then the miracle for the full moon happened. It warmed up (74 at midnight), the clouds moved away and it was almost as pleasant as last month. A magical night, what a pleasure it is to fall asleep after midnight there for an hour or so. highly recommended (both, the full moon celebration ... and falling asleep on the lounge chair)

Here are images from both November and December. One constant since I´ve been going to the drum circle at the Raleigh... Amber Joy´s amazing dances with and without fire. In November with friends
in December by herself, just returned from the first leg of her world tour with Circo de Bakuza in St. Petersburg. No, not Florida. The real one, in Russia.
